You don’t need me to tell you that this summer hasn’t exactly been great as far as the weather is concerned. Having said that I don’t think it has been as bad as last year (at least down here anyway), so I’m surprised to hear that the Minack Theatre (Warning! Purple alert!) has been having a bit of a rough season - having to resort to cancelling shows much more than usual because of the wet weather.

Still, seeing as the Minack Theatre is an open air amphitheatre with the Atlantic as a backdrop you’re going to have to take the wet with the spectacular!
